Customizing Slack Channel Configurations

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Solo by default pulls from all of your data sources and is generally great at choosing the right context. However, there are situations where you want to keep Solo focused on certain sources so that it maximizes its chances of pulling in the right context.

For example, you can allow a specific team to pull from only certain code repositories or allow them to use only notion as a source but not the codebase.

Step 1: View your slack integration configuration page

  1. Click "Integrations" on the right hand side

  2. Click "Slack" to view your Slack integrations.

  3. Click your specific Slack workspace to begin configuring

Step 2: Create your slack channel configuration

  1. Select the "Channel Name" that you want to configure

  2. Select all the "Sources" that you want to choose Solo to look at

  3. (Optional) If your source includes the code, choose any specific repositories you want to pull from. You can leave this blank if its not applicable

  4. Click "Save" to configure your slack channel configuration
