This article covers various advanced settings you can use to customize your workspace. These configurations allow you to set specific writing guidelines, build layouts, organize content, automate assignments, and control chat interactions. Each configuration operates independently to help you tailor the system to your team's needs.

How to configure voice and tone

Applies to: Release Notes, Help Docs (External Documentation)

You can define specific voice and tone guidelines to ensure generated content matches your company brand.

  • Go to the Configure Release Notes or Configure External Documentation section.

  • In the Voice/Guidelines text area, enter your specific instructions.

  • To use the same guidelines across both features, toggle on Apply to all guidelines.

How to configure templates

Applies to: Release Notes, Help Docs (External Documentation)

Templates allow you to set a standard layout or structure for your content.

  • Go to the Configure Release Notes or Configure External Documentation section.

  • Locate the Templates text area.

  • Enter the standard format you want the system to follow when creating new documents or notes.

How to create labels

Applies to: Release Notes

Labels help you group and track related updates.

  • Go to the Labels section and select Add New Label.

  • Enter a Name for the label.

  • Enter a Description. The system relies on this description to automatically categorize your updates, so be specific.

  • Select the save button to apply your changes.

  • You can drag and drop existing labels in the list to reorder them.

How to auto-assign tasks via labels

Applies to: Release Notes

You can route items to specific team members automatically based on the labels applied to them.

  • Go to your existing list of labels.

  • Select the user icon next to a label.

  • Choose a team member from the list to assign them to the label.

Once assigned, items that receive this label will be routed to the selected user.

How to Show verify button in Slack

Applies to: AI Technical Support (Chat)

You can add a verify button to chat responses to help confirm answers. You can set this up globally or for specific Slack channels.

Global setup:

  • Go to your main configuration settings.

  • Toggle on Show verify button (chat).

Channel-specific setup:

  • Go to your Integrations page and select your Slack connection.

  • When adding or editing a channel configuration, toggle on Show verify button.

  • Select Save to apply the changes to that channel.

How to show code sources in Slack

Applies to: AI technical support

You can choose to display the sources used to generate answers in Slack. When this is enabled, the response includes links to the relevant files or internal documentation used to provide the answer.

Enable code sources

  • Go to Settings and select Configuration.

  • Locate the setting to show code sources and turn it on.

  • Save your changes.

How to find an expert button in Slack

Applies to: AI technical support

You can display a find expert button on responses in Slack. When a user selects this button, it identifies the best people to ask for more information. It does this by checking who recently authored or modified the sources used for the answer, returning up to the top three most recent contributors.

Enable the find expert button

  • Go to Settings and select Integrations.

  • Select your Slack integration to view its configuration.

  • Turn on the Show find expert button toggle.

  • Select Save.

How to add payment method

Applies to: Help docs, AI technical support, Release notes

You can add or manage the payment methods used for your subscription. Your existing payment methods appear on the Payment Methods page, displaying the card brand, last four digits, and expiration date.

Add a payment method

  • Go to Settings and select Payment Methods.

  • Select Add Payment Method. You will be redirected to the billing portal.

  • Enter your payment details and save.
